Dr Aynur Yalcin

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Aynur Yalcin is a Clinical and Community Psychologist who works in the NHS, charitable sector as well as an honorary clinical teaching fellow University College London.

Support: Aynur has over 10 years of clinical experience working in the NHS and have supported individuals, families and staff as well as being involved in providing strategic and service development support in both the NHS and charitable sector. Aynur has extensive clinical experience of working in a wide range of NHS settings including primary care (IAPT) and secondary care such as community mental health teams. Aynur has had the privilege of supporting clients with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, social anxiety, panic and psychosis.

Values: Aynur aims to utilise approaches collaboratively with individuals that are most fitting to develop formulations and inform my general clinical practice.

Approach: Aynur has a range of experience’s drawing on different psychotherapeutic models that are evidence-based, particularly community psychology, narrative therapy, ecological systems theory, systemic approaches and more traditional approaches such as CBT, psychodynamic both in the statutory and non-statutory sector.

Passion:  Aynur offers a warm, non-judgemental space to support individuals in their journey of recovery collaboratively exploring difficulties identified and supporting individuals to work towards therapeutic goals.
